The Community Builders, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Pittsburgh to oversee leasing, compliance, and resident services. This in-office role emphasizes operations administration and achieving occupancy targets with COS/LIHTC knowledge preferred.

You will work under the Community Manager to ensure a quality living experience, manage budgets and reports, and lead a team in a purpose-driven nonprofit housing organization committed to inclusive communities.

Competenze

• College degree or 3+ years in property management, hotel, hospitality or retail management required.
• 2+ years of experience in Property Management, Hotel, Hospitality or Retail required.
• Knowledge of regulatory programs, policies and Federal Housing Laws and Guidelines required.
• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Yardi or other industry software experience required.

Mansioni

• Assists with daily site operations and communicates with the Community Manager and staff regarding issues.
• Monitors leasing, retention and re-certifications to meet occupancy goals; attracts new tenants.
• Prepares re-certifications, leasing applications, verifications, occupancy agreements and reports.
• Screens applicants to ensure compliance with Tenant Selection Plan and regulatory requirements.
• Keeps informed of market conditions and updates competitive market analyses quarterly.
• Enters and codes invoices, posts rents, makes deposits and maintains resident ledgers.
• Monitors rent balances, collects rents and sends late notices as required.
• Participates in managing a property including goals, budgeting, risk management, assets, maintenance and personnel.
• Oversees office functions and reports; inspects property and coordinates with maintenance.
• Handles resident issues and moves, inspects market-ready units for leasing.
• Participates in recruitment, training, supervision and performance reviews.
• Performs other duties as required.
