Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all aspects of a housing community on-site, under the Regional Manager. You will lead staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and financial activities while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and company policies.

Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, budgeting, resident relations, marketing plans, and ensuring excellent service delivery. A background in affordable housing and CAM/ARM designations are preferred; a strong on-site

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required or 4 years housing industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Personnel Management
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff
• Ensure staff training and guidance per company benchmarks
• Develop and manage office & maintenance staff schedules
• Handle performance issues and HR communications
• Ensure policy compliance and quality customer service
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor finances
• Create and implement marketing plans to lease units
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents
• Maintain property appearance and timely work orders
• Coordinate vendor bids and purchases
• Emergency response and on-call readiness
