Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Community Manager to oversee the operations of an on-site housing community, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial reporting, and risk management under supervision. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with policies, safety and fair housing guidelines, and coordinate emergency responses.

The role requires at least 2 years of experience with affordable housing programs such as LIHTC and HUD, plus CAM/ARM qualifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Personnel Management and daily onsite attendance required; lead and develop staff.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor deposits, rent collections, and vendor invoices.
• Plan and implement resident retention programs and leasing strategies; show and lease units.
• Ensure property compliance with company policies, fair housing guidelines, and risk management.
• Head emergency team for the property and coordinate maintenance, inspections, and service requests.
• Monitor service request turnaround, property appearance, and contractor performance.

Education
