Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community on-site. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and financials, and ensure compliance with safety and fair housing guidelines.

The role emphasizes on-site leadership, budgeting, marketing plans, and resident relations, with a focus on affordable housing programs and ensuring quality service for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred or 4 years in housing.
• CAM or ARM certification preferred.
• Able to perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills needed.
• Understand Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site operations and lead staff to ensure efficient property management.
• Ensure compliance with Asset Living policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.
• Develop annual operating budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Manage leasing, resident relations, and service request responsiveness.
• Lead emergency response and maintain property appearance and repairs.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Bachelor’s degree preferred or 4 years housing industry experience

Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred

Fair Housing Laws and OSHA knowledge
