Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Community Manager to oversee the operations of an affordable housing community on site under the Regional Manager. You will manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financials, administration and risk management to ensure compliance with policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of affordable housing experience (LIHTC, HUD, etc.) and may hold relevant accreditation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience with affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, HUD Project Based Section 8, Section 236, PRAC, 811 PRA, USDA Rural Development (515), HCD, HOME Funds and Bonds
• Affordable Housing Accreditation (HCCP, HCP-E, COS, BOS, TCS, CPO) or other applicable designations in affordable programs is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Personnel Management
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff
• Ensure staff training and guidance in line with Asset training benchmarks
• Develop and manage staff schedules
• Address performance issues per policy with HR involvement
• Develop resident retention programs and ensure resident satisfaction
• Oversee budgeting, expenditures, and financial reporting
• Lead marketing and leasing strategies and ensure lease signings and documentation
