Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community, reporting to the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, budgets and risk management on-site while ensuring policy compliance and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, and implementing resident retention programs, with emphasis on LIHTC/HUD programs. A CAM/ARM certification and related experience are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or 4 years of housing industry experience.
• CAM or ARM certifications are preferred.
• Proficiency with on-site property management software and basic computer skills.
• Understanding of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site operations including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financials and risk management.
• Manage staff scheduling, training, coaching, and performance documentation.
• Develop annual operating budgets, monitor rent collections and vendor invoices.
• Lead emergency response and ensure safety compliance and resident satisfaction.
