Job summary

Asset Living, a fast-growing property management company, seeks a Community Manager to oversee the on-site operations of an affordable housing community under the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, financials, and risk while ensuring compliance with Asset policies and Fair Housing guidelines.

The role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, marketing, resident relations, and delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, etc.).
• Affordable Housing Accreditation (HCCP, HCP-E, COS, BOS, TCS, CPO) or similar preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct on-site personnel management and supervision.
• Maintain regular/daily onsite attendance and staffing schedules.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop on-site staff per company directives.
• Ensure staff compliance with Asset policies and fair housing guidelines.
• Manage financial operations including budgets, rent collections, and invoicing.
• Lead marketing, leasing, and resident retention initiatives.
• Oversee maintenance, safety, and compliance with reporting standards.
