Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Affordable Housing Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial tasks under the supervision of the Community Manager. You will help with delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow and manage leasing, maintenance, and administration on-site.

The role requires strong knowledge of affordable housing programs, fair housing and OSHA requirements, and the ability to supervise staff and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform onsite software functions with basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years of housing industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager.
• Assist in delinquency management and rent collection to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise staff and ensure compliance with policy, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
• Support budgeting, reporting, and end-of-month close processes.
• Coordinate leasing, maintenance, and administrative tasks onsite.
