Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of an on-site housing community. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and risk management under the Community Manager's guidance.

In this role you will drive rent collection, monitor cash flow, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing and safety standards while delivering excellent resident service and maintaining property appearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily onsite operations and financial functions of the housing community under the Community Manager.
• Manage delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow and financial position.
• Supervise staff and ensure compliance with company policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.
• Post payments, reconcile receivables, and maintain organized records.
• Walk units, apply move-out charges, and support leasing and resident services.
