Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee operations and financial functions of an affordable housing community. You will supervise on-site staff, manage delinquency and rent collection, and ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.

The role emphasizes respectful resident service and accurate financial reporting. Ideal candidates have experience with affordable housing programs and possess basic Fair Housing and OSHA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, etc.) is preferred.
• Understanding of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
• Onsite software and administrative tasks knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community.
• Manage delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise staff, ensure compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.
• Post charges, handle move-outs and end-of-month closings.
