Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of an affordable housing community, under the Community Manager. You will lead on-site staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and risk administration while driving rent collection and budget performance.

Ability to understand onsite software, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA requirements are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under the Community Manager.
• Manage delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow and financial position.
• Supervise all aspects of property and staff for compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
• Perform leasing, maintenance, administration and risk management tasks as on-site leader.
