Job summary

SHI International Corp. seeks a Presales Solutions Architect for Full Stack Observability to guide clients in optimizing monitoring, telemetry, and AIOps architectures.

You will lead technical discovery, deliver engaging demos and POCs, and craft reusable collateral to accelerate deals and refine SHI's observability offerings. The role blends presales client engagements with internal practice development, focusing on OpenTelemetry adoption, telemetry pipelines, data tiering, and SLO-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in observability, monitoring, SRE, or related roles.
• Experience in presales, solutions architecture, or technical consulting in observability, infrastructure, or operations.
• Experience presenting to customers, internal teams, or industry groups on observability or operations topics.
• Certifications such as OpenTelemetry, CKAs/CKAD, ITIL are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver product demonstrations, POCs, and technical presentations focused on full stack observability solutions.
• Lead technical discovery sessions to assess clients' observability maturity and current tooling.
• Translate complex observability concepts into business-relevant value propositions for technical and executive audiences.
• Design target-state observability architectures covering instrumentation, OpenTelemetry, telemetry pipelines, and SLO frameworks.
• Develop and maintain internal collateral including reference architectures and vendor evaluation frameworks.
• Evaluate and qualify new vendor technologies; advise on partner adoption and tool retirement.
• Conduct internal enablement sessions for engineering and sales teams on observability technologies and best practices.
• Drive revenue growth within presales by identifying opportunities and refining service offerings.
• Collaborate with SHI stakeholder teams to deliver integrated observability solutions across SHI's portfolio.
• Build strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction through briefings and demonstrations.
• Stay current with OpenTelemetry, telemetry pipelines, and AI-driven event correlation to inform architecture.
