Job summary

US Foods seeks a Director of Night Warehouse to drive a safety-first, cost-conscious operation across outbound activities. You will partner with warehouse leaders to set strategic direction, ensure accurate loading, and maintain secure, efficient facilities.

The role requires leadership of managers and on-floor staff, development plans, and talent acquisition to sustain service levels. You will leverage technology and continuous improvement to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
• Ability to interpret financial and operational data.

Responsibilities

• Achieve safety, service, and cost targets for night operations.
• Plan and oversee department objectives and mid/long-term strategies.
• Develop Warehouse Managers through coaching and policy training.
• Oversee all on-floor warehouse associates and drive engagement.
• Plan headcount and hiring to maintain service levels.
• Plan and implement technology to improve execution and ensure compliance.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and production goals; report to VP Operations.
