Job summary

US Foods in Aurora, IL seeks a Director of Night Warehouse to lead a high-performing team and ensure safe, accurate, and timely outbound loading. You will drive cost efficiency, partner with warehouse leaders, and maintain compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.

You will develop managers and frontline staff, shape strategic plans, and monitor safety, quality, and performance metrics. A strong background in warehouse operations and people leadership is essential for success in this

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
Minimum seven years of experience in warehouse management.
Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.
Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
Familiarity with OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.
Ability to interpret financial and operational data.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control systems a plus.

Responsibilities

Achieve safety, service, and cost targets in night warehouse operations and plan department objectives.
Lead Warehouse Managers and on-floor associates, coaching and developing talent.
Plan headcount to maintain service levels and oversee hiring and interviewing.
Drive technology implementations to improve execution, productivity, and accuracy.
Ensure food safety standards and OSHA compliance across the facility.
