Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a National Rental Customer Development Manager to manage a book of national rental accounts, mainly in the West and Central regions. The role is 100% sales, focused on retention and growth, with travel required to engage customers and opportunities to expand wallet share.

Base pay is $70,000 per year with uncapped commission, mileage reimbursement, phone stipend, and a full benefits package including 401(k) with employer match and RyderShares discount.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in sales or related roles.
• Proven quota achievement in prior sales positions.
• Experience as a Rental Manager, RAM or BDM on lease side preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of ~100 top national rental accounts.
• Grow wallet share and revenue within assigned accounts.
• Develop sales plans and account communication plans.
• Lead customer meetings and build relationships at all levels.
• Attend events and trade shows within territory.
• Conduct annual business reviews with customers.
• Analyze profitability and competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with RAMs to develop sales talent.
