Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a National Rental Customer Development Manager to manage a book of existing national rental accounts and drive revenue growth. This role is 100% sales, with significant travel and the ability to work remotely from the West or Central regions.

The position emphasizes maintaining customer satisfaction, expanding wallet share, and meeting quotas for revenue growth and retention, supported by a competitive base pay plus uncapped commission.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years or more of experience.
• Demonstrated consecutive Sales Excellence (quota achievement) in prior sales roles.
• Prior experience as a Rental Manager, Rental Account Manager (RAM) or Business Development Manager (BDM) on the lease side preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages a book of approximately 100 top national rental accounts.
• Grows wallet share and revenue within assigned national rental accounts.
• Develops sales plans and a communication plan for each assigned account.
• Schedules and leads customer meetings and builds relationships at all levels of the customer organization.
