Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a National Rental Customer Development Manager to manage a portfolio of national rental accounts across the West and Central regions.

The role is 100% sales, focused on retaining and growing current customers, increasing wallet share, and driving revenue growth. The position offers base pay of $70,000 per year plus uncapped commission, mileage reimbursement, cell phone stipend, and a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) with employer match and RyderShares

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Marketing or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) years or more of experience in sales.
• Prior experience as Rental Manager, RAM, or BDM in lease environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages a book of approximately 100 top national rental accounts.
• Grows wallet share and revenue within assigned national rental accounts.
• Develops sales plans and a communication plan for each assigned account.
• Schedules and leads customer meetings and builds relationships at all levels.
• Attends customer events and trade shows within the territory.
• Completes annual business reviews with assigned customers.
