Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a National Rental Customer Development Manager to oversee a book of top national rental accounts, focusing on retention and growth across the West and Central regions.

The role is remote with substantial travel (60–75%), and requires building relationships at all levels of client organizations. Base pay starts at $70,000 per year with uncapped commissions, plus mileage reimbursement, a phone stipend, comprehensive benefits, a 401(k) match, and RyderShares discounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Marketing or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) years or more of experience in sales or related roles.
• Demonstrated consecutive sales excellence (quota achievement) in prior roles.

Responsibilities

• Manages a book of approximately 100 top national rental accounts.
• Grows wallet share and revenue within assigned national rental accounts.
• Develops sales plans and communication plans for each assigned account.
• Schedules and leads customer meetings and builds relationships at all levels.
• Attends customer events and trade shows for applicable industries within the territory.
