Job summary

Greystar in Corvallis, OR, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure building systems, grounds, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and manage the make-ready process for vacant units.

Responsibilities include handling inventory, maintaining documentation, and assisting in cost-control efforts while supporting flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.
• State and local certifications as required for service technicians.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnose defects, and perform repairs.
• Complete the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections and scheduling contractors.
• Access and manage materials, supplies, and inventory; notify maintenance for reorders as needed.
• Document all work and service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when possible.
