Job summary

Greystar is seeking aService Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings meet safety and cleanliness standards. Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready vacant units, managing inventory, documenting requests, and maintaining grounds and amenities.

The role emphasizes safety compliance, OSHA-related training, and on-site duties with potential travel to assist other properties.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1/II or Universal.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Incumbents must have all certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on the property.
• Complete the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing.
• Track inventory and notify the maintenance supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Complete documentation of service requests in a timely, accurate manner.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities.
• Support cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
