Job summary

Greystar seeks an on-site Facilities Maintenance Technician in Wilsonville, OR to keep buildings, grounds, and shared spaces clean, safe, and functional. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and coordinate with vendors to resolve problems and maintain amenities.

The role requires the ability to complete work orders, manage make-ready tasks for move-ins, and document all activities. A valid driver's license and EPA refrigerant certifications are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests for service and preventative-maintenance tasks.
• Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant homes for leasing and move-ins; coordinates inspections and schedules vendors.
• Follows procedures to access materials, tracks inventory, returns unused items, and notifies the supervisor about re-orders.
• Completes documentation and paperwork so service requests are properly documented and tracked.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting, and minor upkeep.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.
