Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to perform technical and mechanical tasks ensuring the physical areas of the property meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality. This role includes completing work orders, making-ready processes for vacant units, and maintaining grounds and common areas.

Responsibilities include documenting all work, handling inventory, and collaborating with vendors to ensure quality repairs.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications for refrigerant recycling required
• Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance to ensure building standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
• Finish make-ready process for vacant units including inspections, punch lists, and coordinating vendors.
• Track inventory, access materials, and notify supervisors for re-ordering needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas: cleaning, painting, and trimming as needed.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing instead of replacing parts where feasible.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

Valid driver’s license
