Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the property's buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Essential responsibilities include completing work orders and preventative maintenance, making-ready vacant units, inventory management, and timely documentation. The role supports cost-control and requires compliance with safety policies and OSHA training.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant recycling certifications Type 1 and II or Universal.
• All state/local jurisdiction certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Completes make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, schedules vendors and inspects completed work.
• Manages materials and tools from maintenance department, tracks inventory, and notifies re-order needs.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and records.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts where possible.
