Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Head of Business Development for Multifamily to own our largest multi-location deals from first meeting to signed contract. This is an individual contributor role focused on high-stakes, strategic opportunities across portfolios with many locations.

You will close big, multi-location contracts with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders, guided by our inbound and SDR teams. No direct reports; the work rewards long, consultative cycles and high-value wins.

Qualifications

• Close $1M+ annual revenue on large, multi-location accounts.
• Experience selling to multifamily groups or similar multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision-makers.
• Prefer closing business over managing people.

Responsibilities

• Own the full cycle on large multi-location deals from discovery to close, over 3–12 months.
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at the table.
• Expand to more locations and services after a group signs.
• Collaborate with strategists and leadership to build compelling proposals.
