Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a General Manager II to lead a complex QSR or Casual Dine operation near Louisville, KY. The GMII will ensure clean, staffed, and open restaurants operating to high standards, with P&L responsibility and a focus on guest experience.

The role requires extensive leadership, coaching, and tactical planning to maximize profitability while maintaining brand integrity and regulatory compliance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• GMIIs must have 3 years of restaurant P&L management experience.
• Experience managing multiple units or complex operations preferred.
• Knowledge of HMSHost policies and operations.

Responsibilities

• Open and close operations; ensure readiness for opening and proper shift handoffs.
• Staffing deployment; schedule development and coverage optimization.
• Manage product availability and vendor coordination; monitor inventories.
• Maintain brand standards and training; ensure compliance with CBAs and leases.
• Lead the team, coach performance, and drive engagement and recognition.
• Oversee safety, compliance, and health standards across units.
