Job summary

HMSHost is hiring a General Manager I to lead a QSR restaurant or cluster of locations near each other, ensuring cleanliness, staffing, and high operational standards. The GM will drive profitability and oversee opening/closing, staffing, training, and compliance.

You will manage guest experience, supervise managers, and report to operations leadership, with a focus on revenue growth and brand execution across the unit.

Qualifications

• GMIs must have documented and demonstrated skills managing the types of restaurants to which the role is assigned.
• Minimum 3 years of restaurant P&L management experience; 5–7 years total restaurant experience.
• Graduation from a Food Service Management or Culinary program may substitute for some experience.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the restaurant and ensure opening/closing checklists are followed.
• Deploy staff and resources to maximize profitability and meet objectives.
• Interview job candidates and manage hiring/promotion decisions for associates.
• Ensure safety, training, and compliance with health standards and brand policies.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and guest satisfaction.
