Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a General Manager I to lead a QSR restaurant or a small cluster of closely located outlets. You will oversee staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and day-to-day operations to drive profitability while ensuring safety and guest satisfaction at all times.

You will report to the Director of Operations and will be expected to manage varied schedules, implement brand standards, and coach a team to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• GMIs must have 3+ years in restaurant P&L management.
• Experience leading QSR/casual dining environments.
• Strong leadership, team development and coaching skills.
• Familiarity with HMSHost policies and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Open and close operations; ensure seamless turnover.
• Staffing and deployment to maximize profitability; manage schedules.
• Coach and engage staff; drive performance and engagement.
• Recruit, hire, promote, and onboard associates; uphold diversity policies.
• Monitor financial and operational data to meet unit goals.
• Supervise training, onboarding, and compliance activities.
