Job summary

HungryPanda Ltd 熊猫外卖 is seeking a results-driven Business Development / Sales professional in the Fremont, CA area. The role focuses on acquiring merchants, negotiating contracts in person, and expanding the company’s footprint in the food delivery market with a Mandarin-speaking emphasis.

You will maintain merchant relationships, coordinate with marketing and operations teams, and ensure timely delivery of solutions aligned with client needs.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in Mandarin.
• At least 1 year of experience in business development or sales in the foodservice or delivery industry is a plus.
• Strong time management and project management skills.
• High sensitivity to market trends and data.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to work with restaurants.
• Excellent teamwork and independent negotiation capabilities.
• Valid driver license and a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Acquire merchants and assist them in achieving higher orders and GMV (Gross merchandise volume).
• Arrange in-person meetings to negotiate contracts with potential merchants.
• Maintain relationships with cooperating merchants and coordinate with stakeholders to improve merchant satisfaction and service quality.
• Conduct regular merchant visits and manage merchant materials.
• Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs.
• Maintain and update backstage settings for each merchant in charge.
• Liaise with Marketing and Delivery Operations to align strategies to increase GMV.
