Job summary

NFIB seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to reach small businesses, enroll members, and process payments in the field. You will be the on-the-ground driver of NFIB membership growth, operating with a proven, structured sales model and strong presentation skills.

Ideal candidates bring an entrepreneurial spirit, persistence, and a drive to advocate for small business rights, with a track record of success in sales, leadership, or related fields.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial track record or ownership experience.
• Relational persistence and ability to build rapport with small business owners.
• Willingness to learn and apply a proven sales model.
• Ability to adapt and overcome objections.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: Conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners (no appointment setting).
• The NFIB Presentation: Master and deliver our 5-minute verbatim sales presentation.
• The Close: Use an assumptive one-call close to enroll new members and process payments on the spot.
• Advocacy: Educate owners on NFIB's protections in Washington, D.C. and state capitals.
