Job summary

NFIB is seeking an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow membership among independent business owners. This hunter/closer role focuses on in-person meetings, a proven sales process, and advocating for small business rights in Washington, D.C. and state capitals.

You will be rewarded with uncapped commissions, paid training, full benefits, and a structured support system to help you succeed in a high-ownership territory.

Qualifications

• Proven perseverance to turn a 'no' into a 'yes' and perform under pressure.
• Strategic adaptability to overcome objections with ease.

• Technical savvy with digital sales tools.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: conduct in-person cold calls to meet independent business owners.
• The NFIB presentation: master and deliver our 5-minute verbatim sales presentation.
• The close: use an assumptive one-call close to enroll new members and process payments on the spot.
• Advocacy: educate owners on NFIB protections in Washington, D.C., and state capitals.
