Job summary

National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow NFIB membership through face-to-face engagement with independent business owners across the country.

You will master a proven five-minute sales presentation, enroll members, and explain NFIB advocacy work in Washington, DC and state capitals. This hunter/closer role rewards performance with strong commissions and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven persistence to turn a no into a yes under pressure.
• Ability to build rapport with small business owners in person.
• Willingness to learn and apply a proven sales process.
• Comfort with digital sales tools and data management.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners.
• The NFIB presentation: master and deliver a concise sales pitch.
• The Close: enroll new members and process payments on the spot.
• Advocacy: educate owners on NFIB protections in DC and state capitals.
