Job summary

SECU is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Representative in Chapel Hill, NC. You will learn branch operations and perform routine duties while delivering exemplary member service in person or by phone.

You will train across multiple modules, support cash handling, account maintenance, and basic financial services under supervision. This role requires strong communication and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred Bachelor’s, CCUE, or AA/AS via NC-CTP.
• Must demonstrate SECU core values.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Complete Core Module Program within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Respond to member inquiries by phone and in person with courtesy.
• Balance a cash drawer and process transactions per policies.
• Assist with account origination and maintenance tasks.
• Greet members and provide service across channels (in person, phone, digital).
• Support wire transfers, currency handling, and daily records.
