Job summary

SECU in North Carolina is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Representative to provide exemplary member service through in-person, phone, and digital channels. You will learn branch operations, handle routine transactions, and balance a cash drawer under supervision.

You will complete training modules, gain knowledge of accounts, payments, and security procedures, and support other departments to fulfill member requests while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree or CCUE/AA/AS via NC-CTP.
• Demonstrates SECU core values.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to balance a cash drawer and process transactions.
• Must complete Core Module Program within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Attend New Employee Training (E&E) and core modules.
• Greet and assist members via in-person, phone, and digital channels.
• Balance cash drawer and process teller transactions per standards.
• Process wires, currency exchanges, and other requests.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information.
• Follow security and control procedures and assist other departments.
