Job summary

SECU is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Representative to support branch operations and deliver exemplary member service by phone and in person, including cash handling and account maintenance.

You will complete core training modules, greet members, process transactions, and assist with basic account openings. The role emphasizes teamwork, security compliance, and ongoing learning within a supportive credit union culture.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Must demonstrate SECU core values.
• Aptitude for meeting people and building member trust.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Complete Core Module Program within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Attend new employee training and complete 10 core modules.
• Greet and assist members in person, on the phone, and via digital channels.
• Process transactions and balance cash drawer according to standards.
• Follow security, confidentiality, and policies and procedures.
• Open basic accounts with supervision.
• Interact with other departments to fulfill member requests.
• Organize, file and scan documents daily.
• Balance vaults, ATMs, and cash handling equipment.
