Select Medical in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to welcome patients, register them, and guide their visit from front desk to checkout. This role combines patient experience with essential administrative duties in our outpatient physical therapy center.

You will schedule appointments, handle co-pays and insurance verifications, and coordinate with care teams and external partners to keep operations smooth.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of front desk experience.
• 1 year of medical office experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Insurance verification experience.
• 1 year scheduling experience.
• Customer service experience.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Schedule: Weekday - Varies

Compensation:Starting at $16/hr (pending experience)
