Job summary

Select Medical's Dunwoody outpatient center is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet, register, and schedule patients at the front desk, handling administrative duties to ensure a smooth visit.

You will coordinate appointments, collect co-pays, verify insurance, and collaborate with care teams. The weekdays schedule supports work-life balance with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Front Desk experience preferred.
• 1 year of Medical Office experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Communicate with insurers, attorneys, and support teams as needed.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform verifications.

Position:Patient Service Specialist

Location: Dunwoody,GA

Type of Employment: Fulltime

Schedule: Weekday - 4 days (10am to 7pm) & Friday (7am to 3:30pm)

Compensation:Starting at 15/hr (pending experience)

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience
• Health Care Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Insurance Verification Experience
• 1 Year of Scheduling Experience
