Job summary

Select Medical in East Hanover, NJ is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to warmly greet and register patients, schedule appointments, and handle front desk responsibilities at our outpatient physical therapy center.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, healthcare experience, and at least one year of front desk experience, with full-time hours and compensation in the $18–$22 per hour range depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Health care experience preferred.
• 1 year of front desk experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Maintain regular communication with attorneys, insurance companies and translation services; coordinate with market leaders and business development teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Schedule: Weekdays - 9am to 5pm

Compensation: $18 to $22/hour (Pending experience)
