Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Patient Service Specialist in Palm Harbor, FL. This full-time role entails front desk duties, patient engagement, and coordination with insurers to verify eligibility and pre-authorizations. The schedule includes multiple weekday shifts, with compensation starting at $17/hour.

You will welcome patients, schedule visits, handle co-pays, and liaise with attorneys, insurers and translation services to ensure smooth operations at the outpatient PT center.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Insurance verification experience required.
• 1 year of front desk experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with attorneys' offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Schedule:Monday/Thursday (10am to 7pm), Tuesday (7am to 4pm), Wednesday (9am to 7pm), & Friday (7am to 3pm)

Compensation:Starting at $17/hour (pending experience)
