Select Medical in Cincinnati, OH is hiring a Patient Service Specialist to welcome patients, register visits, and coordinate appointments in a fast-paced outpatient PT center.

You will handle front desk duties, process co-pays, verify insurance, and liaise with payers and providers to keep the care experience smooth. This full-time role offers weekday hours and a competitive hourly rate.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of front desk experience.
• Experience verifying insurance is preferred.
• Healthcare experience is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and register patients and inform them about visit expectations and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Maintain communication with insurers, attorneys, translation services, and internal teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform insurance authorizations and verifications.

Overview

Position:Patient Service Specialist

Location: 206 Albert Sabin Way, Cincinnati, OH

Type of Employment:Full-time

Schedule:Weekdays, Monday through Friday (8am-5/6pm)

Compensation:$17.00 - $18.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience

Preferred:

• Insurance Verification Experience
• Healthcare experience
