Job summary

Oatey Company is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Receiving supervisor in Cleveland, OH. You will manage material planning, inventory, warehousing, and cycle counting to meet customer service goals.

You will lead a team, drive Lean initiatives, and collaborate with sales, marketing, and support teams to maintain optimal stock levels. This role demands strong MRP experience (SAP/Oracle), supervisory capability, and a proven track record in high-volume environments.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Significant supervisory experience in a high-volume warehouse/receiving operation.
• MRP experience with SAP or Oracle.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and implement Lean; PFEP awareness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise receiving team and related roles.
• Manage inventory levels to support customer/production needs.
• Communicate shortages and expediting status across functions.
• Lead Lean initiatives and PFEP to minimize inventory.
• Coordinate with production planning to align demand and reduce shortages.
• Lead annual inventory processes and SOP development for material planning.
• Present quantitative and qualitative findings to leadership.
• Cross-train to back-up planning, distribution, and reconciliation.
