Job summary

Oatey is seeking a highly experienced professional to lead material planning, inventory control, receiving, warehousing, and cycle counting. This hands-on supervisory role collaborates with supply chain, sales, marketing, and customer support to exceed service levels.

The candidate will drive material inventory plans, implement Lean principles, and ensure safe, efficient operations across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Experience with planning & scheduling in a high-volume warehouse/receiving operation.
• APICS certification preferred; related degree accepted in lieu of certificate.

Responsibilities

• Supervise receiving team and inventory assurance staff.
• Manage purchased inventory to maintain working capital without compromising production.
• Communicate shortages and expediting status across functions.
• Lead Lean initiatives and PFEP to minimize inventory.
• Coordinate with planning to align demand and material availability.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support annual physical inventory.
