Job summary

Oatey is seeking a highly visible Supply Chain Supervisor to manage material planning, inventory, receiving, warehousing, and cycle counting. You will lead a team of Material Handlers and coordinate with planning and purchasing to meet customer and production needs.

The role emphasizes Lean principles, continuous improvement, and safety in a high-volume environment. APICS certification and SAP/Oracle experience are favored.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent experience in Business/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• APICS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise receiving team and material handling staff.
• Manage all purchased inventory to maintain working capital.
• Communicate shortages and expediting status across functions.
• Lead Lean improvements to control inventory and reduce waste.
• Coordinate with planning and purchasing on future rail deliveries.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and conduct annual counts and MRB actions.
