Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps customer requirements. You will support field tests, demonstrations, and technical validations across expeditionary environments, traveling up to 50%. Remote work is possible depending on location.

The role collaborates with engineering and BD teams, translating field needs into product roadmap inputs while maintaining security and customer-focused execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EE/CE/CS/C5ISR with 2–5 years of related experience, or HS diploma with 5+ years.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, or tactical comms systems.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• U.S. Citizen; background check and drug test clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Plan networks, configurations, and field trials with customers.
• Support demonstrations and benchmarking data to validate architectures.
• Collaborate with BD to align with strategic priorities.
• Prepare technical demos for expeditionary networks.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses.
• Conduct market research on partnerships and architectures.
• Engage with MARCORSYSCOM, MCWL, PEO LANDS, and naval centers.
• Capture field feedback to roadmap inputs.
