Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Marine Corps. Bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements, support field trials, and present technical demos across expeditionary and littoral environments.

You will work with Engineering and BD teams, travel up to 50% for field tests, and engage with MARCORSYSCOM and MCWL to shape product roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years experience; OR HS diploma with 5+ years in technical/defense roles.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC operational priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan, configure networks and support field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with BD to align technical needs with strategic priorities.
• Develop technical demos for expeditionary and littoral networking needs.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and test end-to-end network architectures.
• Travel 25–50% for field tests and customer engagements.
