Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps requirements. You will support field tests, demonstrations, and benchmarking across expeditionary environments, traveling up to 50%.

The role requires a technical background, security clearance eligibility, and US citizenship, with remote work options depending on location and collaboration with the Applications Engineering team and MARCORSYCOM stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
• All employment contingent upon background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Support field trials, modernization activities, and live evaluations.
• Collaborate with the Applications Engineering team to benchmark data and verify architectures.
• Maintain alignment with the Business Development team to support technical needs and priorities.
• Build and present technical demonstrations for expeditionary networks.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses with technical input.
