Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USMC requirements. You will support field tests and demonstrations across expeditionary, littoral, ground, and airborne environments, traveling up to 50% and potentially working remotely depending on location.

The role blends engineering rigor with business development, requiring collaboration with BD, engineering, and MARCORSYCOM stakeholders, and the ability to translate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years' relevant experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET security clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months; must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan and execute field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate to verify architectures are technically sound with benchmark data.
• Support BD in addressing technical needs and align with strategic priorities.
• Develop and present technical demos for expeditionary and tactical edge networking.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses with technical input.
• Conduct market research on potential integrations with partners.
• Engage with MARCORSYCOM, MCWL, PEO Land Systems and naval centers.
