Job summary

Motorola Solutions, with its Silvus Technologies subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps customer needs. You will support field trials, demos, and roadmap inputs across expeditionary environments, traveling up to 50% and working with remote teams.

Requirements include 2–5 years in systems engineering or defence tech, exposure to SDRs and network protocols, plus the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance within 15 months.

Qualifications

• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communications.
• Security clearance: SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Experience with TCP/IP networking, Linux, and scripting for test automation.

Responsibilities

• Support field tests, trials, and user evaluations with network configurations.
• Translate customer requirements into technically sound solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Business Development on demos and roadmaps.
• Travel up to 50% for customer sites and field testing environments.
