Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with US Marine Corps requirements. You will support field trials, configurations, and demonstrations with a focus on expeditionary and tactical edge networking.

You will collaborate with engineering and business development teams to translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs, while traveling to customer sites and defense labs as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Network Engineering or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of experience; OR HS diploma with 5+ years of relevant technical/defence experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Security clearance: Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Bridge technical radio frequency capabilities with Marine Corps customer requirements.
• Support field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations with network configurations.
• Collaborate with BD team to align solutions with strategic priorities and roadmap inputs.
• Travel to customer sites and labs up to 50% and conduct technical demonstrations.
