Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USMC requirements. You will support field tests, customer engagements, and roadmap inputs, with travel up to 50% and a remote work option depending on location.

The role targets early- to mid-career professionals in defense tech, requiring SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months, and familiarity with SDRs, IP routing, and tactical networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of experience in systems engineering or defence tech.
• High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical or defence experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and map Marine Corps network design goals to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan and execute field trials and evaluations; support modernizations.
• Develop demonstrations and tailor them to expeditionary networks.
