Motorola Solutions, through its Silvus Technologies unit, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps defense needs. You’ll support demonstrations, field tests, and architecture collaborations across expeditionary environments, often coordinating with MARCORSYSCOM and MCWL.

Requires a technical degree with 2–5 years in relevant defense tech, knowledge of SDRs and TCP/IP, and an active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain it.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, or tactical comms.
• U.S. citizen due to government contracts; ability to obtain SECRET clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze USMC priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Plan networks, configure systems, and support field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with engineering and business development on demos and benchmarks.
• Prepare technical demos for expeditionary and edge networking needs.
• Support RFI/RFP responses and customer engagements.

Linux environments

Scripting languages (Python, C++)

Strong written/verbal communication

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field

Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months
